I meant, I'm not sleeping in the bed with Mommy and Daddy anymore. I'm sleeping in the crib. Oops.
Easter was a lot of fun but very exhausting. Mommy is missing me something fierce right now because I spent the night with Pappy and Grandma and Aunt Angie. She felt really guilty for leaving me there. She's probably going to head up there really early to pick me up.
I'll tell you more about Easter later. Mommy just wanted to correct the last post.

Mobility

Is awesome. Since my last post I am much more mobile. I am crawling and I can pull myself up to standing and I sit up unassisted. I love it. There is so much to explore that Mommy hasn't had time or energy to update my blog.
Home is a mess right now. For some unknown reason, Mommy and Daddy keep putting stuff in boxes and talking about "settlement" and "moving". I don't know exactly what it means, but I'm pretty sure it means that I won't be in Mommy and Daddy's room with them anymore.
I'm not sleeping in the crib anymore. Mommy and Daddy were able to withstand my screaming and crying, but it isn't so bad anymore.
Actually, I really like my crib. I get to roll around and crawl around and pull myself up to standing. I also have a couple of stuffed animals in there to keep me company and for me to snuggle up to. Once Mommy learns how to load pictures on this, she promised me she'd load some of her favorites.

Exciting Announcement

Mommy and Daddy were playing with me yesterday after Daddy picked me up from Aunt Laura's and Uncle Jeremy's and Mommy noticed something... I've sprouted a second tooth! I'll give you all a moment to congratulate me...
Yep. I have two bottom teeth now. I really like getting my teeth brushed. Mommy brushes them right before bed and I like to chew on the toothbrush.
Mommy was packing stuff and making dinner when Daddy and I got home yesterday. She packed up a couple of boxes of my stuff but she told me it was stuff I didn't really play with yet, so I didn't need to worry. She looked pretty happy when she labeled the box "Kathryn's Room". Mommy and Daddy are so excited to get the new house.
Mommy and Daddy are going to have me sleep in the crib tonight and Mommy is not looking forward to it, but she says I'm old enough to not need my Mommy and Daddy all night long. I don't think I'm going to make it easy for them. I hope they expect a lot of crying.

Sleepover!

Tonight I get to spend the night at Uncle Jeremy's and Auntie Laura's. I'll probably end up keeping them up all night long again, but shhh... don't tell anyone.
Mommy gave me a new nickname - Grumplestiltskin. I've been so grouchy lately because it is hard work cutting teeth. Mommy and Daddy know that, but that doesn't make it easier to bear it when I cry. I was crying all afternoon while Daddy was trying to make dinner. Once Mommy came home from work she picked me up right away and I was all smiles. I just needed my Mommy I guess.
Mommy and I went shopping online yesterday and Mommy picked out her Easter dress. She asked Daddy if she could get it since it was on sale and pretty cheap and Daddy said yes! Mommy is very excited.
Mommy knows exactly what dress she is going to get me for Easter, but they didn't have one in my size so Mommy promised she'd keep her eyes open to try to find it in my size. I'd tell you what it looks like, but Mommy told me she wanted it to be a surprise for everyone.
Last night Daddy and I went to bed while Mommy stayed up and finished watching the Biggest Loser. When she came in Daddy and I were both asleep and Daddy had his arm around me and I was curled into him.
I'm looking forward to spending the night at Uncle Jeremy and Auntie Laura's house, but Mommy told me this morning that she just doesn't know how she'll get by without me. Mommy and Daddy love me very much :).

Anytime is Playtime

Boy howdy Mommy is tired today. When Mommy and Daddy put me down for bed last night, I decided it was play time and that I wanted to watch Aladdin. I was up about an hour past my bedtime.
If I keep up like this, Uncle Jeremy and Auntie Laura are going to have their hands full on Wednesday night.
I had Mommy in stitches last night. Mommy was pretending to snore to get me to fall asleep, but I was on to her. I rolled over to her (I'm not crawling yet, but I'm getting there) and smashed me cheek against hers and started talking to her. Mommy just started laughing and couldn't stop.
She was laughing even harder when I tried to blow my nose in Daddy's armpit.

Sweet Potatoes

I love my sweet taters. Daddy is not happy right now. Apparently, changing a fully processed sweet-tater diaper was not on Daddy's to do list before bed.
Mommy decided to start a blog on my life so that way she can keep everybody updated, not that she expects to have time to update my blog often.
Today Mommy and I stayed home together all day long. We played and took a couple of naps. Mommy held me for each nap and thoroughly enjoyed spoiling me rotten. Aunt Angie came by today and Mommy made Swedish meatballs from scratch. They looked tasty, but Mommy and Daddy wouldn't let me have any, even though I have my first tooth. I'm working on a second, but so far, it is still hiding under the gums.
Tomorrow I'm going to Grammies. I expect to have a lot of fun and wear her out completely.
